Fatoumata is a 7th year medical student at the University of Cadi Ayyad in Marrakech, Morocco. Over the course of her studies, she has gained experience in clinical work from different medical departments both in Morocco and The Gambia.

Born and raised in The Gambia, she has a passion for serving her community as she is a firm believer in the philosophy of ‘Ubuntu’~ the believe in the universal bond of sharing that connects all humanity.

She has led several leadership roles at her village youth association and currently serving for The Gambia Students Association in Morocco (GASAM).
